What does Sicily smell like?
It’s the scent of our horse ride in the Val di Noto: accompanied by an equestrian guide, you’ll ride through citrus groves, almond orchards, carob groves and other typical crops , discovering the colours and scents of the Mediterranean.
A one-hour experience that will surprise you in every way!
What we will do
Please arrive 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Rosolini (SR). Once there, we’ll meet the riding guide who’ll be accompanying us on this adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, we’ll be given our equipment and assigned our horses. We’ll then mount up, learn the basics of horse riding and receive all the information we need to ensure a worry-free experience. This part takes about 10 minutes.
And here we are, ready for our horse ride: we’ll ride through the countryside to discover the region’s typical crops, amidst citrus groves, almond groves, carob groves, vineyards and olive groves. A veritable ‘Mediterranean garden’ that will delight us with its colours and scents!
Finally, we’ll return to the meeting point. The experience lasts about 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for children aged 3 and over. Children aged 3 to 11 ride on the same horse as the accompanying adult (1 adult per 1 child) . If children aged 3 to 11 wish to ride a separate horse, they pay the ‘Adult’ rate.
The activity is easy and suitable for first-time riders. The guide leads the way on foot or on horseback, as they see fit. The horse ride takes place exclusively at a walk.

The experience runs all year round.
Two adults may ride on one horse. In this case, you must book the experience for two adults and then contact the guide using the contact details provided in the booking confirmation email to indicate your preference to ride together.
Free parking is available on site. The town of Rosolini can be reached by public transport: please contact the guide using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email to arrange a free transfer to and from the Rosolini bus stop or train station.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
