Full description
If freedom were an image, it would be a horse running through the Gallura countryside.
You too can join in this fantasy by participating in our Gallura horseback ride. Departing from Arzachena together with our equestrian guide, you will venture on a dirt track through this unspoilt sub-region of Sardinia.
The most anticipated moment of the whole experience? The saddle crossing in the River Liscia. Contrary to what you might think, we hope you wet your shoes and clothes on this occasion: a gesture as trivial as it is liberating!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the selected time at the meeting point in Arzachena (SS). Finding me will be easy: to welcome you there will be my horses running free in the Gallura area.
Before we venture into the saddle, during a briefing I will provide you with all the information you need to participate in the English-mounted horse ride. Leading the group will be me, an equestrian guide riding my trusty horse; all the other horses will follow neatly in single file, as they are trained to recognise hierarchical order by living in a family.
We will take a dirt track through the heart of the Gallura countryside, learning to appreciate this land that proudly preserves its authenticity. The most eagerly awaited moment will be the crossing of the Liscia river, which you will cross on horseback (please remember to bring a change of clothes and shoes to fully enjoy this experience)!
We will then return to the meeting point, following the same route and taking in new details. The experience lasts approximately 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from 5 years of age; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The maximum weight limit for participation is 120 kg.
Previousexperience on horsebackis not required .

The experience is available from January to December; availability is subject to change, especially during the summer period, depending on the welfare of the horse.

Children may do the activity riding a pony, accompanied on foot by the guide.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
