Full description

Join us for an exciting horseback ride to discover the Prenestini Mountains valley, rich in impressive aqueducts, ancient ruins and beautiful landscapes.

In the company of equestrian guides, you will ride through the areas of San Vittorino and San Gregorio da Sassola, in the province of Rome, characterised by the remains of ancient Roman aqueducts.

You will ride for about two and a half hours along a 10 km loop trail that will leave you speechless. We are waiting for you!

What we will do

We will meet at the riding school in San Gregorio da Sassola (RM), where the guides will assign us the horse already saddled and ready for the walk. After a quick briefing on basic horse handling techniques, we will set off for the walk.

We will cross a stretch of the wooded territory of San Gregorio da Sassola, characterised by a series of imposing remains of theRoman aqueduct.

These territories are in fact embellished by the presence of no less than three bridges: Ponte S. Antonio, Ponte San Pietro and Ponte della Mola. The route will be ring-shaped and will be approximately 10 kilometres long.

Guides will accompany us during the excursion to tell us interesting facts about the places we will visit and to ensure maximum safety.

We will maintain awalking pace. There are also stretches where a change of pace is possible if the guide allows it. The walk will last a total of 2½ hours.
