Full description
Flora and fauna, your main passions united in our Gallura horseback ride.
Explore this still little-touristed area of Sardinia in the company of an equestrian guide: riding along a wooded trail, immerse yourself in the lush vegetation of the area. Learn to recognise thealder, a tall shrub that grows right on the banks of the Liscia river, and many other plants that decorate the landscape.
A 1.5-hour experience surrounded by nature, where it still reigns supreme.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the selected time at the meeting point in Arzachena (SS). To welcome you there will be my horses running free, in the unspoilt landscape of Gallura!
In a briefing, I will provide you with all the information you need to participate in the English-mounted horse ride . I will lead the group in the saddle as an equestrian guide; all the other horses will follow me neatly in single file, as they are trained to live in a family and recognise hierarchical order.
We will ride into the wildest Gallura countryside, taking a purely wooded route through trees such as cork, juniper and alder. The latter is thesymbolic tree of Gallura, a very tall shrub that grows on the banks of the Liscia river, whose course will guide us on the excursion.
During the route, there is always the crossing of a stretch of the river where the water is lower. During the warm season, it will also be possible to walk along another fascinating stretch where the water is higher.
At the end of the walk, we will return to the meeting point by taking the route backwards. The experience lasts a total of about 1½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from 8 years of age; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The maximum weight limit for participation is 120 kg.
Previousexperience on horsebackis not required.

The experience is available from January to December; availability is subject to change, especially during the summer period, depending on the welfare of the horse.

Children may do the activity riding a pony, accompanied on foot by the guide.
