With this horse ride for experienced riders in Reggio Calabria, you can ride off into adventure and recharge your batteries in the countryside! You’ll spend two hours riding along dirt tracks and through lush green countryside, where you can stop for a delicious aperitif made with local specialities!
Jump in the saddle and give your day a new twist!
What we will do
We’ll meet at the time specified at the meeting point in Reggio Calabria. Waiting for us there will be the riding guide who’ll be accompanying us on this adventure!
We’ll begin our experience at the riding school, where we’ll watch the horses being saddled and actively help to groom them. After putting on the riding hat and boots provided by the guide, we’ll go over the basic commands to give the horse during a short briefing and do a couple of laps of the arena to get to know our four-legged friend.
Once ready, we’ll set off in single file for a ride of about 1 hour through the countryside. In total, we’ll cover 3 km and enjoy the peace and quiet and the beautiful scenery around us.
We’ll then stop at a scenic viewpoint and enjoy a delicious aperitif ( included) , which the guide will lay out for us on a picnic blanket. We’ll savour bruschetta with olive oil, omelette, vegetable rolls and other local specialities, all accompanied by wine and water.
After about 20 minutes of relaxation and a chat, we’ll get back in the saddle to ride back to the riding centre.
The activity will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for those aged 10 and over. Children under 18 may take part if accompanied by a responsible adult.
This activity is suitable only for experienced riders who have previously ridden a horse.

The activity takes place all year round.
Please note! During the activity, the guide will be on horseback. If you would prefer to be accompanied on foot, you must request this from the organisers in advance, using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email.

Any accompanying guests with dogs on a lead may remain at the riding centre.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
