What sound do horses' hooves make on the sand? If you want to find out the answer to this question, we are waiting for you for a horseback ride on an Apulian beach!
Ride with an equestrian guide through the pine forest and along the shoreline of Lido Azzurro, in the province of Taranto, and enjoy an incredible sense of freedom.
A one-hour experience to completely recharge your batteries and experience the sea from an unusual perspective!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the indicated time at Lido Azzurro (TA).
First, our equestrian guide will welcome us to the stables and instruct us on how to approach our horses during a briefing of about 10 minutes. We will mount and familiarise ourselves with the main controls before going out for a ride.
Once we are ready, we will enter the gates of the riding school to begin our excursion, preceded by our horseback guide. We will ride through a pine forest on sandy paths until we reach Lido Azzurro beach, overlooking the Gulf of Taranto.
Ridingat pace on the beach will be the most exciting part of the route, about 5 km in total. We will have the opportunity to experience the sea in a different way than usual, in contact with beautiful, docile animals that will make us appreciate the landscape from a different perspective.
We will return to the stables after about 1 hour of activity.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, even those with no horse riding experience.
Participation is possible from 13 years of age. Minors may participate on their own, but must be accompanied to the riding stables by an adult to sign a release form.
The maximum weight for participation is 150 kg.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women.
Other information
The activity is available all year round.
American-style riding is used for the walk.
Any accompanying persons may stay at the riding school during the activity; dogs on a leash are allowed. There is a bar on site.
It is possible to reach the meeting point by bus from Taranto, while free secure parking is available for those arriving by car.
