A wonderful experience that’s definitely worth repeating; after my initial nerves when I first got on the horse, I gradually got used to the saddle and the animal, and went for a lovely ride through the pine forest near Lido Azzurro before ending up right on the beach. I’d recommend it for a relaxing time with friends, perhaps at the weekend and when the weather’s on your side.

A lovely farm to visit. Free entry before or after the ride; it’s full of animals. A very picturesque walk, which starts off on a road (a short stretch) before continuing through a pine forest and along the seashore. The horses are calm, but in some places you need to watch where you’re going to avoid the bushes; I’d recommend wearing long trousers for greater comfort. The instructor follows and accompanies the whole group and is always on hand to help with anything. A very enjoyable experience, highly recommended, especially at sunset.
