Looking for an exclusive and unique experience in the beautiful natural setting of the Tuscan countryside? You've found it!
This horseback ride in the Chianti hills will offer you the chance to discover these fantastic areas in complete tranquillity and, once you have finished, you will have the opportunity to participate in a wine tasting and a guided tour of a historic 15th-century residence, with a tasting of typical Tuscan products.
A perfect activity for couples, families and groups of friends who enjoy combining the outdoors with history and good food!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the agreed meeting point. If the transfer service is not requested, we will meet with the guide at the riding school in the province of Florence; if the transfer service is requested, we will meet with the guide in the centre of Florence and then reach the riding school.
Once at the riding school and having received the equipment, we will mount the saddle and learn some basic riding notions. The guide will not fail to provide all the useful information for a carefree experience. This first moment will last approximately 10 minutes.
In approximately 1 hour, we will complete an open country ride, which is suitable for all levels of experience: beginners can simply trot along and the more experienced can enjoy some galloping stretches.
After the ride we will return to the equestrian centre and from there move on to a luxurious private historical estate dating back to the 15th century. We will discover the mansion, its cellars, the secrets of winemaking and finally sit down for a tasting of wines and typical Tuscan products: we will taste five glasses of wine accompanied by a platter of cold meats, cheeses and bread dressed with locally produced olive oil. There will also be cantucci with vinsanto!
After lunch we will enjoy a few more moments of relaxation in this wonderful environment before returning. The activity lasts about 5 hours in total.

This activity is at an easy level, is suitable for everyone and no horse riding experience is needed.
The minimum age to participate is 14.

The experience takes place all year round. The experience may also be held in the event of rain, at the guide's discretion; waterproof coats will be provided.
It is possible to leave from the centre of Florence by taking advantage of the transfer service for a fee or go directly to the riding school located in the province of Florence. The riding school has free parking and cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
