A horseback ride is the best way for riding enthusiasts to enjoy an experience of pure relaxation and discovery of the area. Our horse-riding guides will take you along an evocative itinerary to discover the Valgraziosa.
Get ready to saddle up!
What we will do
We will meet at the riding school in Calci (PI), in the heart of Valgraziosa, a natural area on the outskirts of Pisa, rich in nature trails and lush olive groves. We will meet the equestrian guides and mount the saddle, thanks to our previous experience on horseback immediately ready to venture into the surrounding countryside.
We will ride along a wide beaten path through the vegetation and during the ride, we will not only enjoy the surrounding landscapes, but also the harmony that will be created with the horse. Having established the right connection with the animal, we will ride at a trot. The route culminates at the Belvedere plateau, where we will enjoy awide view of the Valgraziosa: a must stop to take some souvenir photos together with the horses!
The experience lasts a total of 2 hours, including technical preparation, and ends with the return to the stables. If you have chosen the"ride + aperitif" option, you will toast this experience with cold meats, cheese, bruschetta and drinks. Until the next ride!
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable from the age of 14.
This experience is reserved for experienced participants. To participate, it is necessary to prove that you can start, brake and direct your horse, as well as being able to go at least at a walk and trot. In the event of assessed inability on the part of the organiser, the activity will not take place and no refund will be made to the participant. Please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to communicate your level of experience.
The weight limit for participation is 90 kg.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
