There's more than dinner at the agritourism.
Take part in our horseback ride in Montalcino: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will ride in the scenic natural setting of the Tuscan hills, in the heart of the Crete Senesi and Val d'Orcia.
And finally, you will toast with your fellow adventurers with your legs under the table!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Pieve a Salti, in the municipality of Montalcino (SI) . After an initial welcome, we will walk to the nearby riding school where the equestrian guide will be waiting for us to accompany us on this adventure!
Upon arrival, we will receive our equipment, meet the horses and proceed with the assignment. We will saddle up, learn the basics of horse riding and all useful information for a carefree experience.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will ride in the scenic natural setting of the Tuscan hills, in the heart of the Crete Senesi and Val d'Orcia. Along the way, we will also enjoy views of the medieval town of Montalcino, Siena and Monte Amiata on the horizon! The guide will lead the group on horseback and the walk will take place at the pace. The horseback ride will last about 2 hours.
We will then return to the riding stables and then to the meeting point from which, once we have said goodbye to the guide, we will set off to reach the nearby agriturismo that will host us for dinner. The menu for the day consists of a first course, main course, side dish and dessert (drinks not included) and will be an opportunity to toast this adventure! The experience will last about 4 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from 6 years of age. Children up to and including 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult who also participates in the horseback ride; they will also be accompanied by a dedicated guide on the ground who will lead them on the longhorn. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult.
A maximum weight of 80 kg is required to participate. Please communicate your weight and height to your guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride. Experienced riders may ask to practice other gaits at the guide's discretion.
Other information
The experience takes place from April to October. On Saturdays, only English- and German-language horseback rides are available.
The experience is confirmed when the minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
Dinner on the farm is available from 19: 00 to 21: 30: please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to reserve the desired time.
Options are available for people with food allergies and intolerances: contact the guide at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to communicate any dietary requirements. The daily menu includes alternative dishes that do not require a supplement, and an à la carte menu is available with dishes that do require a supplement.
Dogs are allowed in the stables and can wait in a dedicated box during the experience.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. The farm is approximately 1. 5 km from the meeting point.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
