And you, do you know the story of the Malaspina Castle? It is said to be inhabited by the ghost of a young marquise, punished for falling in love with a stable boy.
And who knows, maybe he wasn't actually an ancestor of our riding instructor! To find out, take part in our horseback ride in Fosdinovo: in the company of an instructor, you will ride along country paths in the heart of Lunigiana.
An experience of over 1 hour, between nature and legend!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Fosdinovo (MS). Awaiting us will be theriding instructor who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants and handed over the equipment, we will proceed with the assignment of the steed. We will then enter the field, mount the saddle and learn the basics of riding. The instructor will provide all the necessary information for a carefree experience. This moment will last approximately 15 minutes.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will ride in the natural setting of Lunigiana, at an altitude of 700 metres, along forest and country paths. We will also spot the sea on the horizon! The instructor will lead us on horseback or on foot, and the walk will take place at a leisurely pace, allowing us to fully enjoy the panorama.
We will then return to the meeting point. The experience will last approximately 1 ½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for 14-year-olds and up. Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during the experience; the parent or legal guardian may follow on foot free of charge.
A maximum weight of 95 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.

Attention! The meeting point is about 4 km from the centre of Fosdinovo.
The experience takes place from March to December.
Dogs are not allowed.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
