What we will do
The meeting is at the time selected at the time of booking at the farm in Civitella di Romagna (FC). Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by theinstructor, who will introduce you to the splendid trained horses. The horses that live on the farm stay in the pasture all year round and are tame animals, suitable for teaching even the youngest children.
You will be introduced to the world of horse riding: there will be a theoretical lesson, in which you will learn how to approach the horse and how to mount it, and a practical lesson, in which you will get on the saddle for a short ride around the farm.
You will then proceed with grooming , a moment of strong interaction between horse and rider that increases the confidence between the two. This is an important step especially for novices. Afterwards, you will saddle up for a relaxing ride in the field surrounding the farm.
Finally, you will devote yourself to the pleasures of the table with a tasty picnic (included in the fee) prepared with wholesome ingredients from the farm. Everything will be ready for you! Pick up your picnic basket and relax on the lawn or at the farmhouse's outdoor tables.
The lesson has a fixed duration of 1 or 2 hours, to be chosen during the booking phase, while for the picnic the duration is variable.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 4.
The maximum weight limit is 80 kg.
Other information
The activity is bookable from April to October on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
For children , the lesson will be shorter and will be supplemented with games and other activities.
The picnic service includes tablecloth and plaid, crockery and a basket with various types of menus (also variants for coeliacs and vegans).
The "traditional" picnic basket includes: rustic pie with seasonal vegetables and eggs from our free-range hens, piadina with cold cuts and cheeses from small local producers and misticanza, dessert of the day or fresh fruit, 1 bottle of wine for every 2 people, coffee in a thermos flask.
