These are just some of the ingredients of our horseback ride in Pelago: in the company of a guide, you will ride through the characteristic Tuscan landscape dotted with olive groves and vineyards. And along the way, you will stop for lunch at an agritourism based on local products.
A half-day experience to satisfy both heart and palate!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before 10 a.m. at the meeting point in Pelago (FI). Awaiting us will be theequestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants and handed over the equipment, we will proceed with the assignment of the steed. We will then mount the saddle and learn the basics of horseback riding; the guide will provide all the necessary information for a carefree experience. This will last approximately 15 minutes.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will venture into the characteristic Tuscan landscape, riding through olive groves and vineyards. Along the way, we will admire the Nipozzano Castle, the vineyards of the Frescobaldi estate and the Villa di Altomena.
After about 2 hours, we will reach the structure that will host our farmhouse lunch: the menu includes mixed starters, 1 first course, 1 homemade dessert, water, wine, coffee and limoncello; based on local products and traditional recipes. And it will be an opportunity to toast with our fellow adventurers to this unforgettable experience!
After lunch, we will get back in the saddle to return to the meeting point in about 2 hours. The horseback ride will last about 4 hours; the total experience will last about 5 hours.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when a minimum number of 4 participants is reached.
Dogs are allowed in the riding school: they will remain on the premises during the experience. Contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to indicate the presence of your four-legged friend.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is not accessible by public transport. A transfer service is available from Pontassieve railway station at a cost of €10. 00 per person to be paid on site. If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
