How about horse riding and enjoying the unique views of theArgentario?
Come to a riding school in Manciano, in the province of Grosseto, and experience a 2 ½-hour adventure!
Together with an equestrian guide, you will visit enchanting landscapes, woods, and places rich in history.
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Manciano (GR). During a briefing we will learn together the basics of horse riding, finding out how to approach the horse and mount the saddle properly.
At this point, our horseback ride can begin. Our guide will accompany us along a 2-hour itinerary immersed in the green, along scenic paths that will take us to observe the village of Manciano, Poderi and Montemerano. The maximum height difference is 350 metres.
From this privileged position, we will be able to catch a glimpse of Monte Argentario, but this is not the only marvellous landscape we will be able to observe. In fact, the pace atthe pass will allow us to enjoy the immense panoramas of the farm, which covers 500 hectares of land.
We will see unspoilt areas, encounter wild animals, cross old customs posts once used for daily travel and discover the history of these places. Finally, we will return to the riding stables, where those who have purchased the"horseback ride + aperitif" option will toast with local products such as bruschetta, flatbreads, cold meats, cheeses, honey, jams and other delicacies of the day accompanied by an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink.
The activity lasts 2½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for 12 years and over. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult participant.
A maximum weight of 115 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.

The activity is available all year round.
Any accompanying persons may stay at the riding stables.
Leashed dogs are welcome.
Options are available for people with food allergies and intolerances and dietary preferences: please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to communicate any dietary requirements. Gluten-free options are not available.
There is a car park at the meeting point. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
