Discover the heart of Umbria with ahorseback excursion in the Menotre Valley, a natural treasure hidden in the mountains around Foligno, in the province of Perugia.
A local guide will take you on the most beautiful trails, through woods, hills and countryside, far from the smog and traffic of the city.
Spend 2 hours in total tranquillity, regenerate body and mind and experience the unique emotions of equestrian tourism, in the company of a wonderful four-legged friend!
What we will do
We will meet at the stables in Foligno (PG), where the guides will familiarise us with the horses and teach us basic riding techniques, should we be neophytes. If, on the other hand, we already have horse riding experience, we can immediately jump into the saddle and set off on the excursion.
We will ride on quiet country roads, through the woods of theUmbrian Apennines and along the unspoilt paths of the Menotre Valley, named after the river that runs through it. We will be surrounded by green vegetation and can regenerate ourselves thanks to the purifying power of nature.
Thehorseback riding excursion will last about 2 hours in total and will end with a return to the stables.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone, even those with no riding experience. You can participate from a minimum age of 15 (even younger if you have a riding licence or certificate).
The maximum weight limit for participation is 90 kg.

This activity is available from March to October and is intended for groups of a maximum of 4 participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
