If you love horses and adore being in contact with nature, we have the right experience for you. In the heart of Umbria, Italy's green lung, you can ride through the countryside among cultivated fields and hills.
Accompanied by a qualified equestrian guide, you will ride through the beautiful Umbrian hills around Perugia. You will enjoy landscapes characterised by vineyards, olive groves and forest paths. Truly incredible scenery that you can experience to the full with this horseback ride.
Between harnessing the horse, a lesson in the sand field and a ride in the countryside, the activity will last about one and a half hours.

What we will do
After meeting with the equestrian guide at the riding school in the vicinity of Perugia, we will saddle the horses to become familiar with the animal. We will have a short theoretical lesson on preparing the horse, basic commands and safety measures.
We will then try our hand at saddling with English riding for about 10 minutes to learn the position and set-up.
Once ready, we will go out into the riding arena for a trial ride under the guide's supervision for about 20 minutes. Then we can go out for the horseback ride.
In the guide's company, we will ride through the beautiful Umbrian hills where we will enjoy landscapes characterised by vineyards, olive groves, broom slopes and woodland paths. Immersed in this bucolic scenery, we will admire small medieval villages in the distance, such as Solomeo.
At the end of the walk, we will return to the riding stables. The experience will last a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 14.
Itis not necessary to have previous experience on horseback: the equestrian guide will ensure that the participant is able to cope with the outing on horseback. If this is not the case, a basic lesson or an experience of similar duration but with reduced difficulty will be arranged.
Other information
The activity is available all year round, every day, weather permitting, and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants.
Bags, long scarves, shiny bracelets and cameras that would prevent the reins from being used correctly are not permitted during the outing.
For those who wish to have photos of the experience, the service will be offered free of charge by the equestrian guide , who will take the shots that will be sent back to the riding school.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
