Full description
Immerse yourself in the magic of the Umbrian countryside on horseback.
Starting from Perugia, you will ride for about an hour along dirt paths that lead past beautiful olive groves and vineyards. You will then stop in Agello at a renowned bar where you will find a rich Umbrian buffet with local products.
Immerse yourself in the greenery, breathe in the scents of the countryside and enjoy a delicious aperitif with a very special riding adventure.

What we will do
We will meet with the equestrian guide at the riding school in Perugia. After picking up the horses from the paddock, we will familiarise ourselves with them and hold a short briefing in which we will be explained how to mount and handle the horse during the ride.
After the introductory theoretical part, we will climb into the saddle to begin our ride in the countryside outside Perugia. We will appreciate the Umbrian landscape with its large olive groves and orderly rows of vines. We will ride mainly on dirt and flat paths and only face a few short crossings on asphalt.
After about half an hour on horseback we will arrive at the Molino Centumbrie bar in Agello, awarded 'Bar of the Year 2021' by Gambero Rosso. Here we will enjoy a delicious Umbrian aperitif of mixed cold cuts and cheeses, pizzas and savoury snacks, all accompanied by a good drink (aperitif included in the fee).
After the pleasant break in company, we will climb back into the saddle for the second part of the route. During the ride, which also lasts about half an hour, we can admire the villages of Mugnano and Castiglione della Valle from afar and listen to the guide's stories about these magnificent places.
The experience lasts a total of 2 hours and ends with the return to the riding school.
