Enjoy a few hours in nature riding in the hills of Panicale, in the province of Perugia.
On the saddle of your horse you will admire the views of the Umbrian territory, among vineyards and olive groves, to take in the clean air.
You will always be in the company of an equestrian guide, who will follow you for the duration of the ride, for a safe ride!
What we will do
We will meet half an hour before the time selected during the booking process at the picturesque village of Panicale, in the province of Perugia. Here we will meet our equestrian guide and the Bardigiano horse that will accompany us on the excursion.
Before setting off, we will participate in the preparation of the horses: this will be an opportunity to get to know them and get in tune with them. Afterwards, we will be ready for our ride through the Umbrian hills.
On horseback we will admire vineyards and centuries-old olive groves. We will ride past a small lake and reach the castle of Mongiovino, built in 1312 in a location that offers a breathtaking view.
After about 50 minutes of horse riding, we will return to the stables. The total duration of the activity is approximately oneand a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, even beginners. The minimum age to participate in the horseback ride is 8 years. The maximum weight to participate in the walk is 100 kg.
Other information
The activity is available every day, except Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Important: the guide will contact you a day or two before the activity to collect some necessary information.
During the excursion, the English language will be used.
To ensure maximum safety, the guide will accompany you on foot for the duration of the hike.

There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
