Full description
Enjoy a few hours in nature riding in the hills of Panicale, in the province of Perugia.
Riding your horse, you will admire the views offered by the Umbrian territory, among vineyards and olive groves, and take in the clean air.
You will always be in the company of an equestrian guide, who will accompany you on foot for the entire duration of the trail, showing you the secrets of the area.
What we will do
We will meet at the time selected when booking at the picturesque village of Panicale, in the province of Perugia. Here we will meet our equestrian guide and the Bardigiano horse that will accompany us on the ride.
Before setting off, we will clean and prepare the horses for the ride: this will be an opportunity to get to know them and get in tune with them. Then we will be ready for our ride through the Umbrian hills.
On horseback we will admire vineyards and centuries-old olive groves. We will ride past a small lake and reach the castle of Mongiovino, built in 1312 in a location that offers a breathtaking view.
After about 50 minutes of horseback riding, we will return to the stables. The total duration of the activity is approximately oneand a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is aimed at everyone, including beginners. The minimum age to participate in the horse ride is 8 years. The maximum weight to participate in the walk is 100 kg.
Other information
You must arrive 30 minutes before the time selected during the booking process.
The activity takes place every day, except Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Important: the guide will contact you a day or two before the activity to collect some necessary data.
During the excursion, it will be possible to ride in English, but not American style.
To ensure maximum safety, the guide will accompany you on foot for the duration of the tour.
