Full description
Everyone knows the Scala dei Turchi in Sicily, but did you know that the Punta Bianca Reserve is just as spectacular?
Discover it with a 2-hour horseback ride that will take you to explore this magical place and experience the thrill of entering the water on your steed.
Get ready to be part of a real postcard, between the Mediterranean Sea and the white marl hills: these are views you won't forget!
What we will do
The meeting point will be 15 minutes before the indicated time in Palma di Montechiaro (AG), where you will be met by your guide and horses.
Before setting off, the guide will give you a briefing of about 15 minutes to give you the basics: you will learn the main commands and the correct posture to hold during the ride.
Once you have gained confidence, it will be time to set off. The route will begin by skirting Monte Grande, with a spectacular view: on your left the wilderness of the Punta Bianca Reserve, on your right theinfinite blue of the sea.
After this path, you will begin the descent to the beach below, a small oasis hidden between the white rocks and the sea. Here the panorama will change, preparing you for the most exciting moment of the walk:entering the water with the horses!
At a slow pace, you will cross the sea stretch that will take you to the famous Punta Bianca, one of the most iconic places on the Agrigento coast. Here you will make a stop to take photos and enjoy the view, before completing the circular walk of about 5 km and returning to the starting point.
The walk will last about 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 14 and up. Any minors must be accompanied by an adult.
No horse riding experience is required to participate.
The maximum weight for participation is 110 kg.

The activity takes place all year round, privately for groups of 2 to 4 participants.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport; free parking is available on site.
