Set off on a horseback adventure that will make you forget city traffic and the noise of modern life.
In over 2 hours you will explore the surroundings of Perugia, among rivers to ford and villages that look like something out of a postcard.
And if it's your first time on horseback? No problem: the equestrian guide will not only teach you the basics before setting off, but will also accompany you during the ride to make you feel completely at ease.

What we will do
The appointment is at the riding school in Perugia, where you will meet the equestrian guide and the horse that will accompany you on the excursion.
Before setting off, we will have a small introductory briefing during which we will explain how to mount and manage the horse independently. Even if it's your first time riding a horse, the guide will make sure to give you the basics and make you feel comfortable in the saddle.
Once we are ready, we will venture along dirt tracks in the countryside, following the Caina River. This 31-kilometre-long river is a jewel of the Umbrian countryside and will offer us an exciting experience as we ford it on horseback.
We will then continue to the picturesque village of Pilonico Materno, a hamlet of Perugia rich in history and charm. Along the way, we will have the opportunity to admire spectacular landscapes and breathe in theclean countryair.
We will return to the stables after about 2 ½ hours of horse riding.

The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 14. No previous horse riding experience is necessary.
