That is, riding a horse (because Santa Maria a Monte is only 56 metres above sea level) . Join our horseback ride in the province of Pisa: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will ride through the natural scenery of the Pisan hills.
A 2-hour experience, with postcard-perfect panoramic views!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Santa Maria a Monte (PI). We will find the equestrian guide waiting for us, who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants and handed over the equipment, we will proceed with horse assignment. We will then enter the field, mount the saddle and learn the basics of horse riding. The guide will not fail to provide all useful information for a carefree experience. This moment will last approximately 15 minutes.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will venture into the natural scenery of the Pisan hills, into the woods and open countryside. We will also reach a characteristic small lake, riding on its banks. Along the way, we will also enjoy the panoramic view of the village of Bientina, Monte Serra and the Apuan Alps on the horizon! The guide leads on horseback and the walk takes place at the pace.
The horseback ride will last about 1 ½ hours. The experience will last about 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult.
A maximum weight of 110 kg is required to participate.
The experience is not suitable for pregnant women and people with disabilities.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.

The experience takes place all year round.
We recommend wearing a baby carrier; no bags or backpacks can be worn during the experience.
Dogs are allowed and will remain in the stable during the experience: contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate the presence of your four-legged friend.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
