Have horses always fascinated you, but you've never tried riding?
Join us for a one-hour horseback ride in Siena. You will discover the gentleness of these magnificent animals and experience an activity that will take you completely away from the daily hustle and bustle.
You will ride along a stretch of the Sienese countryside, among vineyards and historic villas. Don't worry if you don't have horse riding experience: experienced equestrian guides will accompany you on this wonderful horse riding adventure!
What we will do
We will meet at the time selected when booking at the riding school in Siena, where our guide will be waiting for us. Before mounting the saddle, we will have an introductory briefing lasting about 15 minutes.
If it is our first time riding a horse, the guide will give us some basic riding notions to face the ride and show us how to guide our horse through some basic commands.
Once the theoretical part is over, it will be time to mount the saddle and leave the riding school. We will then begin our ride surrounded by the beauty of the Sienese countryside and the ridges of the Chianti hills, riding at a walking pace.
Theapproximately 8 km route includes exclusively white roads and will take us through fields as far as the eye can see, rows of vines and historic villas. The guide will lead the way and accompany us throughout the ride to ensure maximum safety.
Finally, we will return to the riding school to say goodbye. The activity lasts approximately one hour.
Who it is aimed at
The walk is suitable for everyone, aged 14 and over, with a maximum weight limit of 100 kg. Children under the age of 18 may only take part in the walk if accompanied by an adult.
Other information
The activity is held from March to December, with daily departures in the morning and afternoon. The ride is confirmed on reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
The riding school cannot be reached by public transport. On request, a taxi service is available at an extra charge within 4 km of the centre of Siena; to request it, contact the organiser at the contact details you will receive by e-mail with your booking confirmation.
Horse riding is available in both English and American style.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
