Full description
Imagine a person on horseback in the shadow of a castle framed by mountains. A fairytale fantasy, of which you will be the protagonist by participating in our horseback ride!
In the company of an equestrian guide you will venture around Strigno, until you reach Castel Ivano. You will cross woods, cultivated fields and vineyards that will frame a 2-hour ride in the splendid natural scenery of Trentino.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Strigno (TN). I, your riding guide, will be there to welcome you to the stables!
When you arrive, I will assign you the best horse for your level of experience; I will help you get on the saddle with an American mount and explain the basics of riding.
And here we are ready to set off on our horseback ride: we will venture along dirt roads and into a forest, until we reach the Castle of Castel Ivano. Along the way, we will be able to admire the Lagorai chain, Monte Ortigara, Cima Undici, Cima Dodici, the Brocon Pass and Valsugana! We will then take the return route, crossing cultivated fields and vineyards owned by well-known wineries in the area.
At the end of the 8-km-long loop tour, we will return to the meeting point. The horse ride will last 2 hours; the experience will last 2 ½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
A maximum weight of 120 kg is required to participate in this activity.
This experience is of medium level: the route is suitable for a first horse ride but the duration of the ride requires good physical preparation as it may be tiring.

The experience is available from April to November and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Companions may stay at the riding stables. Leashed dogs are permitted at the riding stables.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
