This scenic military structure will be the finish line of our expert horseback ride: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will set off from Grezzana to venture into the hills of Verona, in the Lessinia Natural Park.
A 2 ½-hour ride in a natural setting near Verona.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Grezzana (VR). I, your riding guide, will welcome you to the riding stables!
On your arrival I will introduce you to my beloved horses and hand over the equipment. You will then get on the saddle and take part in a briefing during which we will go over the riding notions useful for the ride; this experience is reserved for experienced riders who already know how to practice the various gaits.
We will venture into the hilly terrain surrounding the riding school, dotted with vineyards. We will ride in this natural setting, just a few kilometres from the heart of Verona, until we enter the Lessinia Natural Park. We will cross the finish line in Cerro Veronese, greeting the scenic Forte Santa Viola, a military structure built on the mountain of the same name, on the horizon.
After covering approximately 5 km, we will return to the riding stables. The horse ride will last 2 ½ hours; the experience will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the riding school by an adult.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate in this activity.
The excursion is reserved for experienced riders who can walk, trot and gallop.
Other information
The experience is available from January to December.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
Any accompanying persons may stay at the riding stables. Leashed dogs are permitted at the riding stables.
