1-hour horse trekking in the Garda hills near Brescia

The moraine hills of Lake Garda will provide the backdrop for your next adventure!

Take part in our horseback ride: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will ride through nature in the province of Brescia and through the historical centre of the village of Limone.

An experience of over 1 hour, discovering the territory and horse riding!

What we will do

The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Limone, a hamlet of Gavardo (BS). We will be welcomed by the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure on horseback!

We will reach the stables, where we will meet the horses that we will lead into the fenced-in field. Here we will climb into the saddle one at a time and learn the basics of horse riding.

Our horseback ride will then begin: we will ride in the natural setting of the morainic hills of Lake Garda, entering the La Faita forest; along the way we will enjoy a panoramic view of the province of Brescia with the mountains in the background. Finally, we will pass through the village of Limone, strolling through the scenic historic centre!

We will then return to the meeting point after riding approximately 5 km. The horse ride will last 1 hour; the total experience will last 1 hour and 15 minutes.

If the"horseback riding with picnic" option is purchased, on our return we will receive a towel to stretch out on in the manège's garden and a basket containing an omelette with garden vegetables, spelt salad, sandwich with salami, fresh fruit or slice of cake, water and coffee depending on availability.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult in the riding hall.

A maximum weight of 120 kg is required to participate in the activity.

The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first horse ride.

Other information

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when a minimum number of 2 participants is reached.

There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

Any accompanying persons may stay at the riding stables, where there is a farmhouse with a restaurant open on Saturdays and Sundays. Any accompanying persons may attend the picnic only by purchasing the dedicated option when booking.

If you have any food allergies and/or intolerances, please contact the guide at the contact details given in the e-mail confirming your booking to communicate them. It will be possible to add an alcoholic aperitif or a bottle of wine to the picnic for an extra charge.

Dogs on a leash are allowed in the riding stables; if participants have dogs with them, contact the guide at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to reserve a box for them to leave them in during the experience.

Would you like to participate in this experience with children in tow? Choose the family package: 2 adults and 1 child (aged 6 to 13) at a cost of €95.00; any second child at a cost of €20.00. While the 2 adults take part in the horseback ride, the child will remain at the manège to enjoy educational activities such as a visit to the stable, preparation of the horse and putting it in the saddle, and a riding lesson with a certificate followed by a sweet or savoury snack.
