You can try spotting it by participating in our horseback ride: you will ride for 1 hour in the Molentargius Park, a natural oasis not far from the city centre of Cagliari. Here you will find the famous salt pans, populated by these friendly animals.
All this in the company of an equestrian guide, who looks forward to accompanying you on a discovery of the animals and their territory!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Medau Su Cramu in Cagliari (CA). We will be welcomed at the stables by the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this riding adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, we will meet the horses and proceed to saddle them. Next, the guide will explain the basics of horse riding and provide us with all the information we need for a carefree experience.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will ride on dirt tracks in the beautiful setting of the Molentargius Park, a short distance from the heart of Cagliari. We will ride in a natural oasis, with a view of salt pans populated by cute pink flamingos! The guide will follow the group on horseback or on land with a longhorn, depending on the age or need of the individual participants.
We will then return to the meeting point. The horse ride will last 1 hour. The total experience will last 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 6; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult in the riding hall. Generally, children up to 10 years of age are led by the guide on the ground with a harness.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for a first horse ride.
Other information
The experience takes place throughout the year.
Personal items may be left in the riding hall.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport but can be reached by taxi.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
