We bet that from up here, you have never seen Foligno, Montefalco and Assisi.
Yes, because some of the panoramic views hidden in the Umbrian nature only our riding instructor knows! Join our horseback ride and venture in his company around Uppello, through open countryside and wooded areas.
A1-hour or 2-hour experience depending on the option selected when booking.
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Uppello, in the municipality of Foligno (PG). We will be welcomed at the riding school by theriding instructor who will accompany us on this adventure!
Once all the participants have gathered, we will proceed to saddle up and learn the basics of horse riding. This first moment, lasting about 20 minutes, will allow us to get acquainted with the animal and carry out the experience without any worries.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will venture into the surroundings of the riding school, penetrating the characteristic Umbrian nature. We will take routes through open countryside or wooded areas, offering panoramic views of Foligno, Montefalco and Assisi. If the 1-hour option is selected, we will reach the so-called "Casa del Baffo"; if the 2-hour option is selected, we will arrive at the foot of Sassovivo Abbey. At our side will always be theriding instructor, who will guide the group on their steed.
We will finally return to the meeting point. If the 1-hour option is selected: the horseback ride will last 40 minutes; the total experience will last 1 hour. If the 2-hour option is selected: the horse ride will last 1 hour and 40 minutes; the total experience will last 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up; unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 must have a release form.
A maximum weight of 90 kg is required to participate in the activity.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for first-time horse riders.
Other information
Caution! The duration of the horseback ride may vary at the discretion of the riding instructor.
The experience takes place from March to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
Any accompanying persons may stay at the riding stables. Leashed dogs are allowed on the riding stables.
