From now on, the Poetto Beach will have a whole new meaning.
And yes, because it is the setting for our horseback ride: you will ride for two hours in a natural setting not far from the centre of Cagliari. On one side the famous salt pans populated by pink flamingos, on the other the unmistakable Poetto waterfront.
All this in the company of an equestrian guide, who looks forward to accompanying you on a discovery of his animals and territory!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Medau Su Cramu in Cagliari (CA). Welcoming us to the stables will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this riding adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, we will meet the horses and proceed to saddle them. The guide will then explain the basics of horse riding and provide us with all the information we need for the experience.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will ride on dirt tracks in the beautiful setting of the Molentargius Park, a short distance from the heart of Cagliari. We will ride in a natural oasis with views of the salt pans populated by cute pink flamingos on one side and the Poetto waterfront on the other.
In the period from mid-October to early May only, when the bathing season has not yet started, it will also be possible to ride on the Poetto beach and in the sea!
We will then return to the meeting point. The horseback ride will last 2 hours. The total experience will last 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from 13 years of age; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at the riding school.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for a first horse ride.
Other information
Attention! It will only be possible to ride on the Poetto Beach and in the sea in the period from mid-October to early May, when the bathing season has not yet started.
The experience takes place all year round.
Any personal belongings may be deposited at the stables.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport but can be reached by taxi.
