30-minute horseback ride in the province of Florence

First horse ride? This experience is just for you!

You will venture into the Tuscan countryside in the province of Florence, exploring the surroundings of Reggello. An equestrian guide will lead you on foot using a lunge, which he will loosen slightly until you are in full control of the horse.

A 30-minute first riding experience, which will mark the beginning of your passion for horse riding!

What we will do

I will be waiting for you 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Reggello (FI). To welcome you at the estate will be me, your equestrian guide on this adventure in the Tuscan countryside!

Once all participants have gathered, I will introduce you to my beloved horses. After assigning them to you, I will help you get on the saddle with an English mount: I will then teach you the basics of riding, so that you can enjoy this experience without any worries.

It will then be the start of our horseback ride: we will take a ring-route around the estate, venturing on paths and dirt tracks through the olive groves, vineyards and woods that characterise this area. A true immersion in nature in the province of Florence, which you will be able to enjoy thanks to my support: I will follow you on foot for the entire walk, holding you with a lunge that I will slowly loosen until you are in full control of the horse!

We will then return to the meeting point. The horseback ride will last 30 minutes; the total experience will last 45 minutes.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for children from the age of 3; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult on the estate.

A maximum weight of 110 kg is required to participate in this activity.

This excursion is of an easy level and suitable for a first horseback ride: the equestrian guide will lead you on foot with a lunge, which he will loosen at his own discretion until you have fully mastered the horse. If the guide verifies that you already have experience on horseback, he or she will lead the walk in the saddle and you can follow it independently.

Attention! After booking, contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to inform him/her of the height and weight of each participant; these details are used to assign you the best horse according to your characteristics.

The experience is available from January to December. Thetime of the experience may vary according to weather conditions at the guide's discretion. The duration of the experience may vary depending on the number and experience level of participants.

There is free parking on site. Please note that it is necessary to drive 1.9 km along a dirt road to reach the estate. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

Any accompanying persons may follow the walk free of charge or remain on the estate at their leisure. Leashed dogs are allowed on the estate but not on the walk; please note that there are other dogs on the estate, so please muzzle any aggressive dogs.

On site there is an agriturismo with restaurant service and swimming pool service for a fee; contact the guide at the references indicated in the booking confirmation e-mail for more information.

Digital photos taken by the guide during the excursion will be shared with participants via smartphone.
