Full description
Imagine yourself bathing in the shade of a waterfall in the Tuscan landscape.
This is not a bucolic fantasy but the reality of our horseback ride: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will ride through the countryside between Pisa and Lucca until you reach "Le Scalette" waterfalls for a refreshing stop.
An experience lasting a total of 1 ½ hours, in the company of our animal friends!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Filettole, a hamlet of Vecchiano (PI). We will be welcomed by the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure on horseback!
Once all the participants have gathered, a 20-minuteintroduction will take place: we will meet the horse, proceed to saddle up and learn the basics of horse riding for a carefree experience.
We will then be ready for our horseback ride: we will ride on dirt tracks and meadows, skirting the Serchio river. We will cross the river in the saddle of our steed before dismounting and riding a short descent on foot that will lead us to "Le Scalette" waterfalls. In this natural setting will take place our bathing stop of about 30 minutes, to refresh ourselves before the return ride.
We will then return to the meeting point. The horseback ride will last 40 minutes; the total experience will last one and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult in the riding hall.
A maximum weight of 90 kg is required to participate in the activity.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for first-time horse riders.
Other information
The experience takes place from June to September and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Any accompanying persons may participate in the walk free of charge; dogs on a leash are allowed on the walk.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
