Follow the balsamic scent, it will lead you to our horseback ride!
Take part in our riding adventure in Santa Maria del Focallo: together with an equestrian guide, you will ride through the Maccone Bianco Nature Reserve where eucalyptus, mimosa, pine nuts and other characteristic (and fragrant) vegetation grow.
A1-hour experience, not far from the sea!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Santa Maria del Focallo (RG). We will be welcomed by the equestrian guide who will accompany us to discover this corner of Sicily!
Having gathered all the participants, we will proceed to saddle up and listen to the guide provide us with the basics of horse riding for a carefree experience. The guide will lead the excursion on horseback or on foot, depending on the needs of the individual participant; the walk will take place at pace.
This is when our horseback ride will begin: we will venture into the Maccone Bianco Nature Reserve, riding along paths characterised by different vegetation: a fragrant balsamic area populated by eucalyptus trees, which meet with the iodine of the sea; a colourful area populated by mimosas, which paint the spring landscape yellow; and an area where the renowned Sicilian pine tree grows. In addition, it will be possible to ride on sand dunes, given the proximity to the sea!
We will finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from 3 years of age; children under 18 can participate unaccompanied.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for first-time horse riders.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when a minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
It ispossible to ride 2 people on 1 horse: if it is 2 adults (from 12 years) it is necessary to make a booking for 2 people at a cost of €35.00 each and contact the guide at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to indicate the preference to ride together; if it is 1 adult person (from 12 years) and 1 child (up to 11 years) it is necessary to contact us to make a personalised booking with a 50% reduced rate for the child.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
