Horse riding near Montepulciano

A new corner of Tuscany, all waiting to be explored. This is the Val di Chiana, which you will be able to discover in the saddle by taking part in our horseback ride!

In the company of an equestrian guide, you will venture into the fields of Sinalunga. You will spend over an hour in nature, riding your trusty steed.

And on your return, you can enrich the experience with an aperitif of typical local products, to continue the exploration with gusto!

What we will do

The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Sinalunga (SI). Welcoming us to the riding school will be our equestrian guide, who will accompany us on this adventure in the saddle!

Once all the participants have gathered, the guide will provide us with all the necessary information regarding the course of the experience and the use of the equipment. It will finally be time to meet the horses: we will be assigned the best animal based on our physical characteristics and level of experience.

Once in the saddle, a field trial will take place during which the guide will teach us the basics of riding. Ready to enjoy this carefree experience, we will venture out for a ride using English riding; the guide will generally accompany us on foot with the longhorn. We will ride at pace through fields, skirt a forest and, when possible, approach the riverbank: all in the beautiful natural setting of the Val di Chiana, inhabited by friendly deer that we may encounter along the way!

After riding about 8 km along a path and dirt track, we will return to the stables. The horseback ride will last 1 hour and 15 minutes; the total experience will last 1 ½ hours.

If we have selected the "walk + aperitif" option, on our return to the riding stables we will be welcomed with an aperitif (included) of local cold cuts and cheeses accompanied by wine or soft drinks. In this case, the total experience will last 2 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable from the age of 8. Children up to and including 13 years of age must be accompanied on the ride by a participating adult; children from 14 years of age must be accompanied on the ride by an adult but can participate in the experience independently.

A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate in this activity.

One must not suffer from vertigo to participate in this activity.

The excursion is of an easy level and suitable for a first horse ride.

Other information

The experience is available from April to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.

There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

Any accompanying persons may stay at the riding stables. If you select the "accompanying persons" option of the "walk + aperitif" option, you can purchase the aperitif only.

If you have selected the "walk + aperitif" option and have any food allergies and/or intolerances, please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to inform him/her of this.

During the walk, you can ask the guide to take photos and videos of the experience.

Any backpacks and/or large bags must be stowed in the riding school office.

Dogs on a leash and muzzled are allowed at the riding school.
