It looks like the setting of a fairytale: the Lagorai chain in the background, framing the Castle of Castel Ivano.
And yet this is where our horseback ride will take place: an equestrian guide will accompany you around Strigno, riding with panoramic views of Monte Ortigara, the Brocon Pass, Valsugana and other scenic wonders.
This 1-hour ride will be your happy ending with Trentino!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Strigno (TN). Welcoming you at the stables will be me, an equestrian guide who will accompany you on this adventure in the saddle!
Upon your arrival, I will assign you the best horse for your level of experience; I will help you get on the saddle with an American saddle and provide you with the basics of riding to enjoy this experience without any worries.
Then our horseback ride will begin: we will venture around the riding school, riding along dirt roads and into a forest. We will continue at the pass until we reach the Castle of Castel Ivano, a nearby locality. Along the way we will be able to admire the Lagorai chain, Monte Ortigara, Cima Undici, Cima Dodici, the Brocon Pass and Valsugana!
At the end of the 4 km long loop tour, we will return to the meeting point. The horse ride will last 1 hour; the experience will last 1 ½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
A maximum weight of 120 kg is required to participate in this activity.
The excursion is of an easy level, also suitable for a first horse ride.

The experience is available from April to November and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Companions may stay at the riding stables. Leashed dogs are permitted at the riding stables.
