Are you passionate about horses and wine?
Join us for an unforgettable 3-hour horseback riding experience through the undulating vineyards of Chianti, where you can combine your passions in an enchanted atmosphere.
From Siena, you will ride along a route surrounded by greenery, in perfect harmony with these magnificent animals. And to end on a high note, 3 glasses of wine, sipped on the panoramic terrace of the San Giorgio a Lapi winery!
What we will do
We will meet at the stables in Siena, where the riding guide will welcome us and introduce us to the beautiful horses. Before starting the ride, the guide will give us an introductory briefing to give us some basic horsemanship notions, fundamental for handling the horse.
And now... we saddle up! We will begin our one-and-a-half-hour ride to the winery. This is a ride immersed in the Chianti countryside, among the lush rows of vines and ancient Tuscan stone farmhouses.
Once at the San Giorgio a Lapiwinery, we will dismount from our horses to enjoy a tasting of 3 glasses of wine (included). We will sit on a beautiful panoramic terrace overlooking the countryside and sip the wine accompanied by taralli and savoury delicacies.
After the wine and food break, we will get back on the saddle to return to the riding stables. It will take about 30 minutes on horseback to return to the starting point. Between the briefing, 2-hour horseback ride and a stop at the winery, the activity lasts a total of about 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The walk is suitable for everyone, aged 18 and over, with a maximum weight limit of 100 kg.

The activity is held from March to December and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
The riding school cannot be reached by public transport. On request, a taxi service is available with a supplement within 4 km from the centre of Siena; to request it, contact the organiser at the contact details you will receive by e-mail with the booking confirmation.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
