The province of Agrigento is not only Scala dei Turchi and Valle dei Templi.
And our horseback ride is the best proof of this: venture with an equestrian guide into the Torre Salsa Nature Reserve, riding through the pine forest and beach. On the horizon you might even catch a glimpse of the Dama Bianca cliff!

What we will do
The rendezvous is at the selected time at the riding stables next to the beach , in the Bovo Marina di Montallegro (AG) bathing area . We will be welcomed by the environmental equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Once all the participants have gathered, we will meet the horses and conclude their preparation by saddling them. After this initial approach, we will climb into the saddle and be given the basics of horse riding for a carefree experience.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will venture into the Torre Salsa Oriented Nature Reserve, entering a pine forest characterised by Mediterranean scrub. We will then reach a beach from which we will be able to see the Dama Bianca cliff in the distance, reminiscent of the more famous Scala dei Turchi!
After riding about 4 km, we will return to the meeting point. The horse ride will last 1 hour; the experience will last 1 ½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for children from 5 years of age; children under 14 years of age must be accompanied on the walk by an adult, either on horseback or on foot.
A maximum weight of 110 kg is required to participate in this activity.
Other information
The experience is available from January to December.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
Any accompanying persons may follow the walk free of charge; any other accompanying persons may remain at the riding stables. Leashed dogs are permitted at the riding stables.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
