Enjoy a magical horseback ride in the Pisan countryside.
Admire the beauty of the surrounding nature by riding through the Valgraziosa and relax with a delicious aperitif. And if you select the last available time, you may even enjoy the spectacle of the sunset.

What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the riding school in Calci (PI). Before setting off, we will carry out a briefing/training session to learn the basic commands and align ourselves.
From here, we will head for the Certosa di Calci, the current seat of the Natural History Museum of Pisa, retracing the routes of the ancient wayfarers who came to the monastery over the centuries to ask for hospitality.
We will then make a ring-route that runs along the Zambra stream until we come in sight of the beautiful Upezzinghi Tower, crossing the most beautiful naturalistic part of the Valgraziosa valley. The entire route will be on flat dirt and asphalt roads. For the sake of total safety, you will always be accompanied by one or more instructors on horseback or on land, depending on your level of preparation.
At the end of the ride, you will find an aperitif (included) waiting for you under the gazebo in the middle of the lawn of our garden, in the beautiful setting of Valgraziosa. Here you can relax and relive the excitement of the adventure you just had, including through the photos taken by your guide, which will be shared with you after the walk.
In total, the activity will last 1.5 hours, of which 1 hour will actually be on horseback.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is aimed at everyone, beginners and experts, from the age of 14. Any minors may participate in the walk on their own, but must be accompanied to the riding school by a responsible adult.
In case of need, the first part of the briefing/training will be slightly extended to allow everyone to tackle the walk safely and have fun.
The weight limit for participation is 90 kg.

This activity can be carried out all year round, subject to weather conditions and the availability of guides.
Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time of the activity.
The time may vary depending on the weather or organisational requirements of the riding school. Before the activity takes place, you will receive a confirmation via Whatsapp or e-mail from the guide.
The aperitif includes cold cuts, cheese and drinks such as wine and prosecco. In case of food allergies or intolerances, please contact the guide at the contact details given in the booking confirmation.
A photo shoot of the experience is included: photos will be sent to participants after the activity via mobile phone.
English riding is used for the walk.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport. A shuttle service is also available from the point of origin (within 30 km) to the meeting point for an extra charge on site: contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email for more information and to request the service.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
