Full description
Just for you who love horses and dream of spending a day riding through beautiful landscapes, here is an excursion that will remain in your heart.
You will ride along trails in the Tuscan countryside, skirt Lake Massaciuccoli, and admire many species of birds and the marsh vegetation characteristic of the area.
Every moment of this 2.5-hour walk will bring you into contact not only with wild and enchanting nature, but also with an affectionate animal that will know how to make itself loved and understood by you.
What we will do
The appointment is in Massarosa, in the province of Lucca, at the time chosen for the activity.
Before starting the excursion, the guide will hold a briefing of about 10 minutes during which you will get on the horse and learn the various commands, such as stopping and pulling over. At the end of the mini-lesson, you will begin the actual ride. This will be anexclusive experience, to be enjoyed together with a small group of participants.
You will explore the Lake Massaciuccoli area on horseback, along the Burlamacca canal. The marshy area will give you the opportunity to spot various species of migratory birds and to admire the incredibly evocative old fishing houses, called scales.
The approximately 10 km route will be completely flat, ideal also for those who have never ridden a horse, and will take you along country paths and white roads.
At the end of the excursion, you will return to thefarm, where you can decide to have a tasting of typical local products such as cold cuts, cheese, wine and oil (to be chosen when booking).
The activity will last a total of 2.5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The horseback ride is suitable for everyone, including beginners, from the age of 14.
Minors need not be accompanied by a parent.

The excursion is available daily, all year round and is aimed at private groups of up to 10 people.
American saddles are used.
The tasting of typical products is optional and costs €15: when booking, choose the "walk + tasting" option. Please inform the guide of any food allergies and intolerances at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
It is not possible to carry bags or backpacks during the walk.
