Horseback riding at sunset at Lake Poppiano with tasting

We have reserved a front-row seat for you for the spectacle of the sunset over the Tuscan hills.

Join our horseback ride in Montespertoli: in the company of a guide, you will venture through the splendid scenery dotted with vineyards and olive groves. You will then reach Lake Poppiano, in whose waters the castle of the same name is reflected.

An experience of over 2 hours, enriched by a tasting of local products!

What we will do

The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Montespertoli (FI). Awaiting us will be the guide who will accompany us on this adventure!

Having gathered all the participants, and after a welcome coffee, the experience will begin. We will get to know the authentic reality of the ranch and the horses, proceeding with the assignment. We will then mount the saddle and learn the basics of riding; the guide will not fail to provide all the useful information for a carefree experience.

And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will venture into a splendid scenery dotted with vineyards and olive groves; we will ride until we reach Lake Poppiano, where we will admire the reflected image of Poppiano Castle. The horseback ride will last one and a half hours.

Finally, we will return to the meeting point, where a tasting of typical local products will be waiting for us: bruschetta topped with home-produced olive oil and the inevitable pappa al pomodoro (bread and tomato soup); accompanied by a glass of Tuscan red wine. The tasting will take place in the bucolic setting of the lawn, by the pool, with the spectacle of the sunset in the background.

The experience will last a total of about 2½ hours.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 may participate unaccompanied.

A maximum weight of 95 kg is required to participate.

The experience is not suitable for persons with mobility problems.

The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.

Important! It is mandatory to comply with the dress code requirement, which requires long trousers and ankle boots or smooth-soled trainers (no heels and no flip-flops). If the requirement is not met, the experience may not take place at the guide's discretion.

The experience takes place from April to October and is confirmed when the minimum number of 2 people is reached.

Options are available for vegetarian, vegan and abstemious persons. Options for people with food allergies and intolerances are not available. Please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to communicate any dietary requirements.

The tasting may take place indoors depending on weather conditions at the guide's discretion.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
