Do you want to live a different experience in contact with nature? At Montaione, in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, a horseback ride through hills, vineyards and olive groves awaits you, offering unique and authentic views.
You don't need to be an expert: before the outing you will have time to become familiar with your horse in the arena, learning the basic commands together with a guide ready to accompany you safely and easily.
And then what? Well, just let yourself go at the pace of the ride, breathe in the beauty around you and enjoy an adventure that will make you want to get back on the horse again and again.
What we will do
We will meet at the ranch in Montaione (FI), 10 minutes before the time chosen for the ride. We will begin with a short briefing of about 10 minutes inside the arena, during which we will learn how to interact with the horse, how to sit correctly in the saddle and how to acquire basic commands.
When we feel confident, we will leave the arena for an approximately 5 km route through vineyards, olive groves and truffle fields. We will pass by a Chianti-producing farm, proceeding at pace along wide, unobstructed country roads.
Accompanying us will be the romantic landscape of the Tuscan hills and, with a bit of luck, we will encounter roe deer, fawns, pheasants and other animals that live in the wildlife repopulation area.
At the end, we will return to the stables. The whole experience will last about an hour, including briefing and walk.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 14. Minors may also participate unaccompanied by an adult.
No horse riding experience is required, as the course is designed for beginners.
The maximum weight the horses can carry is 95 kg.

The activity is available all year round, every day except Monday, and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants .
Riding is American, with quarter horses.
The riding school cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
