Make it a reality with this 1. 5-hour horseback ride in the Chianti region: follow an equestrian guide through vineyards and olive groves and discover some interesting facts about the history of the place.
Finally, you will enjoy a delicious aperitif, accompanied by local olive oil and wine!
What we will do
The appointment is 5 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Monteriggioni (SI). Awaiting us will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure through the Tuscan hills!
After an initial welcome, we will participate in a briefing, during which we will learn some basics of horse riding, how to approach the horse and what commands to give it.
Once we are ready, we will mount up and start our 5 km ride. We will ride along an itinerary with a slight difference in altitude, perfect for enjoying the slow pace of nature among the rows of vines and the canopies of olive trees.
Along the way, the guide will reveal interesting facts about local wine and oil production and point out points of interest, such as the majestic walls of Monteriggioni Castle, which we will see on the horizon.
We will finally return to the equestrian centre where we can relax with a delicious aperitif (included) , based on bruschetta, salami and samples of local olive oil, all accompanied by prosecco and wine. We will use this time to exchange views on the best moments of the experience with our fellow travellers!
The activity will last 1½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 may participate if accompanied by a responsible adult.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.
Other information
The experience takes place from March to October.
The guide will lead on foot. The activity can be conducted with English or American mounts, at the discretion of the equestrian guide.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
Leashed dogs are allowed at the riding centre; any accompanying persons can wait for the participants to return to the riding centre.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
