Do you already have experience on horseback and dream of a ride in the Tuscan countryside? Then here is a one-and-a-half-hour excursion for you among the olive-covered hills and truffle fields of Montaione, in the province of Florence.
Saddle up, try your hand at different paces and explore an area famous for the production of Chianti wine in the company of an expert guide.

What we will do
We will meet at my ranch in Montaione (FI) at the time chosen for the ride.
Before leaving, we will meet the horses in the arena, become familiar with them and go over basic commands. At this point, mounted in the saddle, we will be ready to leave the stables.
We will ride along wide country roads for a distance of about 10 km. We will proceed mainly at a walking pace, but at some points you can try higher speeds, if you feel up to it, of course.
We will pass the land of some farms that produce Chianti wine, as well as olive groves and truffle fields that characterise the hills of Montaione. Towards the middle of our route we will meet the Evola river, which in the summer months we can also cross on horseback.
At the end of the tour we will return to the riding stables. The experience lasts a total of 1.5 hours, including briefing and walk.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is aimed at riders of intermediate level, with at least ten years of riding experience.
The minimum age to participate is 14 years; for minors, the presence of an adult is not required.
The maximum weight the horses can carry is 95 kg.
Other information
The activity is available all year round, every day except Monday.
The riding is American-style, with quarter horses.
The riding school cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
