If you have always wanted to get in the saddle and discover what it is like to ride in nature, our horseback ride in the Ragusa countryside is just the thing for you.
Starting from the Ragusa stables, you will have the opportunity to get closer to horse riding with an equestrian guide and, at the same time, immerse yourself in the splendid scenery of the Hyblean countryside, riding for an hour until you reach the sumptuous Donnafugata Castle.

What we will do
The meeting place is the Ragusa stables, the ideal starting point for our horseback ride. We will be welcomed by an equestrian guide who will provide us with all the explanations necessary to learn how to handle the horse.
There will be an initial phase of approaching the horse, in which we will learn how to get in tune with it, how to mount the horse and how to tension and relax the reins as needed.
After learning the basic manoeuvres for handling the horse, we will do an initial trial ride within the riding arena and only then will we set off on our ride.
We willride for about an hour in the Hyblean countryside until we reach the ancient Donnafugata Castle. Along the way, we will ride on paths lined with greenery, cross the typical 'trazzere' and even catch a glimpse of the coastline.
The total duration of the experience is 1 hour and a quarter.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone over the age of 14. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. No experience is necessary to participate.
The weight limit is 110 kg.

The activity is available all year round, every day, and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
The location is in open country, so it is not possible to reach it by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
