Group balloon flight over Lake Garda

Everyone has seen Lake Garda... but not from the top of a hot-air balloon.

From Monzambano, you will fly for about 1 hour suspended between sky and earth, with hills, vineyards and medieval villages flowing slowly below you, while on the horizon the blue of Lake Garda framed by mountains opens up.

And the best part? There is no fixed route: it is the wind that decides the path. All you have to do is let yourself be carried along and enjoy the spectacle.

What we will do

We will meet at first light in the morning in Monzambano, at the take-off point chosen according to the winds of the day (the precise address will be communicated to you a few days before). The flight takes place in the early hours of the morning, when the currents are most favourable and the atmosphere is at its most magical.

Those who wish can arrive a little earlier to witness one of the most exciting moments: the inflation of the hot-air balloon. Before our eyes, the balloon will slowly take shape, until it transforms into a large, colourful dome ready to rise into the sky. A spectacle that alone is worth waking up at dawn!

After the pilot's briefing, it will be time to board. A puff of the burner and in a few moments we will already be in the air, with the ground beneath us. We will fly over moraine hills, expanses of vineyards and medieval villages, until we can see the deep blue of Lake Garda on the horizon, nestled between the mountains.

The flight will last about an hour. The experienced pilot will guide the hot air balloon, while we will only have to let ourselves be carried away and lose ourselves with our gaze between heaven and earth.

Thelanding will take place at a spot decided by the wind; from there an organiser's vehicle will take us back to the starting field. Between preparation, briefing, flying and moving around, the experience will last about three hours in total.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for everyone from 6 years of age.

Pregnant women, people with cardiovascular, pulmonary or osteoporosis diseases, psychiatric disorders or with prosthetic limbs or walking problemsare not allowed to fly.

Persons weighing more than 110 kg must report this to the organiser (you will receive contact details by e-mail with your booking confirmation); for them there is an extra charge of €30 to be paid on site.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time of the activity.

Flights take place all year round, weather permitting. The landscapes that can be seen during the flight may vary, as the direction of the balloon trip depends on the direction in which the wind is blowing.

Important: the take-off time may vary depending on the period chosen. On the day before the activity - by 6 p.m. - you will receive confirmation from the pilot of the exact time and location.

You are allowed to bring small items on board, such as smartphones and small video cameras with which you can film.

Small and medium-sized dogs are allowed on board the balloon; if you wish to bring your four-legged friend, please contact the organiser at the contact details you will receive by email with your booking confirmation.

The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport; a pick-up service from your hotel/accommodation in Monzambano and neighbouring towns is available on request and at an extra charge. To request this, contact the organiser.
