Get ready for anextraordinary experience and admire one of the most incredible sceneries imaginable: the Paestum Archaeological Park from above and the sea of the beautiful Cilento coastline.
Aboard a hot-air balloon you will soar above the mythical Greek temples, with the opportunity to observe them in all their splendour. In the background, the blue Tyrrhenian Sea and the verdant coastline will provide the backdrop. And if it is a particularly clear day, you will even be able to see theisland of Capri.
The approximately one-hour hot-air balloon flight will be even more impressive thanks to the colours of sunrise or sunset, which will fill the sky with magnificent hues. A spectacle not to be missed!
What we will do
We will meet near the archaeological site of Paestum (SA), at dawn or shortly before sunset. Depending on the wind conditions, the pilot will decide whether to take off on site or move to a more favourable spot.
We will carry out a safety briefing, wait until the balloon is inflated and when the air inside is sufficiently warm, we will take off into the wind. In fact, the currents will decide our route, which makes each flight unique and unrepeatable.
The panorama that we will admire will be of indescribable beauty, with the Temples of Hera, Neptune and Athena taking centre stage. All around will be the Cilento sea and the heights along the coast that will make the scenery even more evocative and unforgettable.
The flight will last between 45 and 60 minutes depending on the strength of the wind. Thelanding will take place at a flat spot several kilometres from the starting point, where we will be accompanied by theground crew that will follow the balloon along the route.
We can enrich the experience with a toast on board or a tasting of typical products on arrival (optional and not included in the participation fee).
Between briefing, flight and transfers, the experience lasts a total of about 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone who is in good health and over 120 cm tall (minimum age 7 years). The only restrictions are for pregnant women and those with mobility problems in their lower limbs.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the time chosen for the activity.
The activity takes place all year round with groups of 4 people.
The landscapes that can be seen during the flight may vary, as they depend on the direction in which the wind is blowing.
Times and meeting point may vary slightly depending on the time of year and weather conditions. In the event of rain and strong winds, the flight will be cancelled and in the event of excessively high temperatures, you will only be able to fly in the morning. You will receive precise instructions from the pilot a few days before the activity.
After booking, it is possible to request a toast on board and/or a tasting of typical products on arrival (to be paid on site at a respective cost of €30 and €50 to be divided between participants).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
