Full description
You are already imagining yourself riding in the hills of Chianti. But you've never taken riding lessons.
So what's the problem! We have created this combination of experiences just for you: learn the basics by taking a 1-hour riding lesson and participate in a 1-hour horseback ride in the Valdarno with a riding guide.
You will then be rewarded with a lunch at an agriturismo, to explore and savour the area.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Rendola (AR). I, your equestrian guide, will be there to welcome you at the stables!
On your arrival I will introduce you to my beloved horses, for an initial approach. I will then help you get on the saddle with English riding and we will begin the riding lesson in which I will teach you the basics of the discipline. By the end of the 1-hour lesson, you will have learnt the gait and a hint of trotting!
That's when we'll be ready for the horseback ride: we'll venture over the hills around the riding school and into a forest. We will overlook the valley of olive trees and spot on the horizon the characteristic crags of the Vadarno, natural compounds created by the draining of a large lake that washed the area.
After about 5 km in the saddle, we will finally return to the stables. The horseback ride will last 1 hour; the experience will last 2 hours in total. If you have selected the"lesson and ride + lunch" option when booking, a table with starter, first course, main course, side dish, dessert, water and wine will be waiting for you on your return at the riding schoolfarm.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the riding school by an adult.
A maximum weight of 85 kg is required to participate in this activity.
The excursion is of an easy level and suitable for a first horse ride.
Other information
The experience is available from March to October (excluding the period from mid-June to mid-September) and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
Any accompanying persons can stay at the riding stables/farm. Leashed dogs are permitted at the riding stables.
The"lesson and walk + lunch" option is available from April to September. If you have any food allergies and/or intolerances, please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to inform them.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
