Full description
On a beach holiday, there are two types of people. The beach person, whose only goal is to perfect their tan, and the hyperactive person, who will constantly propose an activity for the beach person todo.
If you recognise yourself in this second type, this SUP lesson in Gallipoli is just the thing for you! A 1-hour experience to share with a group of strangers (clearly as hyperactive as you are) and an instructor, who will not fail to teach you the aquatic discipline of SUP in both theoretical and practical form.
Board underfoot, paddle in hand... into the sea!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Gallipoli (LE). Welcoming you will be me, your instructor for this SUP lesson!
When you arrive, I will hand over yourequipment and we will start the first part of the lesson, which will last about 15 minutes. Already at this stage you will get on the SUP board for a land-based simulation. I will give you all the information you need to practice this water discipline: technical nomenclature, basic paddling techniques , and how to keep your balance.
It will then be time for the second part of the lesson, which will last about 45 minutes: you enter the water! Following the instructions on how to enter the water and return to shore safely, you will venture into the sea with your SUP board. You will start on your knees, then paddle standing up when you have gained confidence. As an instructor, I will always be there to give you directions and advice, turning you into a real paddler!
The lesson will last 1 hour in total.

The experience is available from April to October, subject to weather and sea conditions at the organiser's discretion.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; a bike-sharing service is available on site.
Any accompanying persons may stay at the bathing establishment and attend the lesson.
Dogs are not allowed to participate in the experience.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 0 days from the activity start date. Within 0 and 0 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
