Get ready to discover Palermo’s most fragrant side!
The Jacli Artisan Liqueur Distillery invites you to stroll amongst the variety of citrus fruits in its garden and discover how they are transformed into delicious liqueurs during a tour of its workshop.
And to round off the experience, a tasting of three liqueurs and traditional Sicilian specialities awaits you!
What we will do
The tour starts at the specified time at Liquorificio Jacli in Palermo, an artisanal distillery founded in 2019, where every raw ingredient is grown on site.
Our experience will begin with a stroll amongst the trees of the citrus grove, surrounded by the intense fragrances and colours of Sicilian nature. The guide will explain the various cultivars and the botanical characteristics that make these fruits unique.
We will then move inside the distillery to discover the production process. During this first part, lasting around 20 minutes, we will explore all the stages of production: from the selection of the raw materials to the transformation of the citrus fruits into high-quality artisanal liqueurs.
Once the workshop tour is over, we’ll return to the citrus grove to enjoy the most relaxing part of the experience. Here, we’ll take part in a guided tasting of three artisanal liqueurs: limoncello, sweet orange liqueur and bitter orange liqueur.
To bring out the aromatic notes of each product, each tasting will be paired with local specialities such as biscuits or chocolates, which may vary depending on the season.
The experience will last approximately 1. 5 hours in total (2 hours for those choosing the option with transport) .

This experience is aimed at participants aged 13 and over. Minors may be accompanied by an adult.
This experience is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Dogs are not permitted.
Free on-site parking is available. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. When booking, you can choose the ‘with transfer’ option ( available for up to 8 people) from central locations in Palermo such as the Central Station or Piazza Indipendenza: please contact the venue after booking to arrange the transfer location.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
