Horse-riding excursion in the Alcantara Valley and a visit to a local winery
A very interesting experience, with the first part of the day devoted to a horse-riding excursion (rediscovering those slow rhythms we so desperately need in today’s society) in a truly captivating natural setting; the second part was devoted to a visit to the Tornatore winery, where the pursuit of quality in the finished product goes hand in hand with a deep knowledge of the local area and a love for the land that allows it to be showcased to the full. Overall, the experience was well worth the price, and these days it’s by no means easy to find such a good deal for the customer. Well done on the package – it’s very well put together.

This was a truly fascinating and enjoyable experience – it was brilliant to learn about the long history of salt production in this part of the world, with friendly and knowledgeable staff showing us round, plus a lovely bar and restaurant where we could cool down with a drink and a snack, and plenty of souvenirs to take home with us.

Beautiful discovery
Beautiful experience from the slopes of Etna up to 2,000 metres. Pleasant tasting and breathtaking sunset. A special thanks goes to the tour operator Ilaria for her engaging explanation of the landscapes and nature around us, kudos for her professionalism. I highly recommend it to anyone coming to visit Catania
