What we will do
We’ll meet 15 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Porto Cesareo (LE). Waiting for us there will be the skipper and crew who will accompany us on our fantastic adventure along the northern route of the Porto Cesareo Marine Protected Area.
After boarding and a brief initial briefing, we’ll set sail for Isola dei Conigli and the archaeological site of Scala di Furno. We’ll continue on, admiring the distinctive Isola della Malva, with its heart-shaped outline, and the imposing Torre Chianca, an ancient Saracen fortress.
We’ll then head towards Torre Lapillo Bay, where we’ll make our first snorkelling stop to admire the famous submerged statue of the Madonna dei Naviganti up close. You can dive in and use the equipment provided by the crew, such as masks and lifejackets, or simply enjoy the view from the motorboat.
The route will continue towards Torre Castiglione, where we’ll admire its fascinating natural pools, and on to Punta Prosciutto Bay. Here we’ll make our second swimming stop, lasting about 10 minutes, before beginning our return journey.
During the return journey to the quay, we’ll relax with a Salento-style aperitif (included) featuring bruschetta with cherry tomatoes and extra virgin olive oil, fresh local cheese and seafood tastings, accompanied by rosé wine from Apulian wineries.
The tour will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions; those under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The excursion is not recommended for women in the late stages of pregnancy.
The boat is wheelchair accessible: upon request via the contact details provided in the booking confirmation email, staff can assist passengers with mobility difficulties in boarding. Wheelchairs cannot be moved between the boat’s decks but can be left on the covered access deck.
Other information
The activity takes place from June to September and is confirmed provided there is a minimum of 10 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions (if necessary, the southern route towards the Strea Peninsula and Torre Squillace will be taken) .
The vessel used is the Motonave Santa Maria, a 20-metre former fishing boat, equipped with three decks, toilets and a bar. It is not compulsory to go barefoot on board.

Dogs are welcome on board, provided they are used to being on a boat and are well-socialised.
Paid parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
